Call for ePoster Abstracts

Share your work with a global OMS audience.

Submit an ePoster abstract for consideration for the IAOMS NextGen Virtual Conference. Accepted authors will be invited to prepare and submit a final ePoster for inclusion in the IAOMS NextGen ePoster Gallery.

Abstract Submission Deadline: Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT

How the ePoster process works

The ePoster submission process has two steps:

Step 1: Submit a structured ePoster abstract for peer review.

Step 2: If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to prepare and upload your final ePoster.

Please do not upload your final poster at this stage unless specifically requested.

Key Dates

Abstract Submission Deadline:
Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM CDT (Chicago time zone)

Notification of Acceptance:
June 22–26, 2026

Final ePoster Due:
July 15, 2026

IAOMS Membership Required

The primary author must be an active IAOMS member to submit an ePoster abstract. Membership connects you to a global professional community and provides access to this NextGen opportunity.

What to Submit Now

At this stage, submit a structured abstract for review. You will be asked to provide the following information:

Title

Provide a concise, descriptive title that clearly reflects the focus of your work.

Background / Introduction

Briefly describe the background and context of your work, including the clinical problem or research focus and its relevance to oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Objective / Purpose

State the objective or aim of your work. Clearly describe what the study, case, or project is intended to evaluate, demonstrate, or achieve.

Methods & Materials

Describe the study design, materials, techniques, patient population, and methodology utilized to conduct the work presented.

Results / Outcomes

Summarize the key findings or outcomes of your work. Include relevant data or observations that support your results.

Conclusion / Key Takeaways

State the main takeaway of your work and its relevance to clinical practice, research, or the specialty.

How Abstracts Are Reviewed
